primary school teacher teach art to children from 4 to 7 years. The
book features advice about teaching through the visual elements of
colour, shape, pattern, form, tone, line, texture and space.

Here there are ideas about teaching art to children from 7 to 11 years.
There is lots of advice about specific skills such as painting, collage,
printing and working in clay. The chapters are organised as projects
and include portraits, landscape, drawing buildings, abstraction,
architecture, figures and heads in clay and war.

Both these slim books offer advice to parents and teachers who want
to organise art activities for children in the Early Years 3 – 5 years.
This was collaboration with Crayola. The books are no longer available
but will be published on-line in the near future.

Linked to four programmes in the Zig Zag Art unit, the pack helps to
build children"s understanding and use of the visual elements: colour,
shape, pattern, form, tone, line, and texture.

A practical pack to support investigating and making at Key Stage 1 (5-7 years). The pack encourages an
organised approach to teaching children skills and focuses on painting, printing, collage and clay. The pack
helped to support a BBC Education television series called Art Start.
Cardiff Bay Art Education Pack – A Resource Book for Teachers (1997), published by Cardiff Bay Arts Trust.
This is a pack for teachers who want to bring children to see the many artworks in Cardiff Bay. It is aimed
